WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS ?

WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You'll meet one evening a week with additional dates for special events and trips. Your initial training will include parade and looking after your uniform, you'll cover the entire cadet model of education, community and activities, this will include:
- Taking part in crime prevention initiatives
- Assisting with public safety events
- Visits to various and diverse police departments
- Team building exercises
- Physical fitness training
WILL I GET A UNIFORM?
Yes all cadets will be issued with a police cadet uniform
WHO CAN BECOME A POLICE CADET?
You need to be over 13 years old and under 18 years old and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years. You must live within Co Durham and Darlington.
